New Sensory Room

Our new Sensory Room has been developed with our children in mind and helps create a therapeutic atmosphere of relaxation. Studies show that such relaxation is good for children’s emotional health as it gives them a chance to explore their feelings and to become interested in their environment.
This facility has many benefits for all children especially those with special needs as it creates a stimulating, yet calming atmosphere and among other things can help to improve hand and eye co-ordination and develop language skills.

Discoverers - 3 Months to 2 Years

Discoverers is our baby room catering for children aged 3 months to 2 years, we strive to provide a homely and caring environment which enables babies to thrive. We follow babies individual routines, enhancing them with the implementation of a variety of sensory and creative activities to promote development.
The room is well equipped
with stimulating toys and
equipment, there is a
separated area for younger
babies, a sensory room and
sleep room attached as well
as separate access to the
outdoor play environment.

Investigators - 3 Years to 5 Years

This is our pre-school room which enables children aged 3 years to 5 to develop their skills and learning through child initiated and well planned continuous provision, the routine promotes children’s learning and development with our focus being on enjoyment and fun whilst also working towards children achieving the early learning goals of the Early Years Foundation Stage and preparing them for school.The room has a messy play, role play and maths area as well as a quiet area, it also
enables the
children to access
outdoor learning
through continuous
outdoor provision
and has access
an additional,
separate quiet room for activities such as music and dance, small group work.

Explorers - 2 Years to 3 Years

Explorers is our toddler room catering for children aged 2 years to 3 years, it provides a large comfy baseroom for children to explore
a wide range of activities available, aiming to enhance
all areas of development. The routine enables children
the opportunity to participate in outdoor learning and
focuses on learning through child initiated play. The
room has a messy play area,role play area and a quiet/rest
area as well as easy access to the toilet area to enable
toilet training and changing facilities.
