About us:

Every child deserves the best start in life and the support needed to fulfil their potential. A Child's experiences in the early year have an impact on their future life chances. It is our aim to provide a secure, safe, stimulating and happy environment that enable children to thrive and make the most of their abilities and talents.
We work towards the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This framework sets out the learning and development requirements that all early years providers must by law deliver. We are able to provide a large range of indoor and outdoor equipment and activities in order to deliver a continuous provision that encourages children's individual needs.
We aim to continue the extremely valuable work you have already put into your child's early education and look forward to working with you in helping your child develop.

Nursery History

College House Day Nursery was originally established due to the closure of Furness College Day Nursery. Furness College Day Nursery was renowned for being one of the best Nurserys in the local area receiving regular 'outstanding' reports from OFSTED.
Our Nursery is now run independently from the College, as a non-profitable organisation, managed by a dedicated Committee.

Parent Testimonial

" My 3 year old son has been attending College House Day Nursery for over 18 months now. He really enjoys his time at the nursery, and as a parent i have the upmost confidence in the staff and their ability to bring the best out of him."
