At College House Day Nursery we provide a warm, caring and safe environment for all the children in our care. Our aim is to develop children's skills by stimulating all ages through play and child initiated activities. Our Nursery is staffed by highly qualified and committed personnel that will help the children to reach their full potential by identifying individual needs and planning activities that are both interesting and challenging.
We encourage all children to explore the world in which they live and develop life skills that will help them in their formative years.

The nursery was rated GOOD by OFSTED in December 2010.

College House Day Nursery is located in the grounds of College House (within the old college campus, on Howard Street), close to Barrow Town Centre. This new nursery has been established due to the closure of Furness College Day Nursery. Furness College Day Nursery was renowned for being one of the best in the local area receiving regular 'outstanding' reports from OFSTED. A Group of staff, parents and friends of the Furness College Day Nursery believe it is important to continue to deliver the high standard of care and education within the Barrow community. The Nursery is now run independently from the College, as a non-profitable organisation, managed by a dedicated Committee, and is registered with OFSTED.

We offer care for children aged 3 months to 5 years of age.
